Listed here will be tradesmen and women (residents or otherwise and possibly some companies) that members are happy to recommend, so that over time good, trusting relationships can develop. This will be of great benefit both to conscientious trades people, who want job satisfaction, as well as a fair wage, which they can only get from customers who value their work, and to residents. Ideally, most of the trades people listed will be members of this or neighbouring communities. This should lead to (my kind of) trades people taking more pride and interest in the quality of their work, instead of giving priority to making as much money as possible.
